Set the shutter speed to the Iso rating

(eg. ISO100 =1/100th sec)

When shooting in bright sunlight  set the aperture to f16

When overcast use f11

When dull use f8.

It's as simple as that!

Of course this is useless when using a camera with unknown shutter speed!
