FED 4 Another Russian Leica copy, this time with a light meter built in. Almost identical to the FED 2 I have up to the silver top this camera feels very much like the '2 but has a clearer view finder. Why is the top different? Well, with the need to constantly update FED needed to fit a light meter, so the top cover was altered and a meter installed, this inturn ment a return to a shorter rangefinder. The accuracy of the meter seems OK, the test shots beeing acceptable. |
